We prefer to meet with the homeowner directly for several reasons. First is to perform an onsite inspection and discuss the layout of their current system. Many times the current system has issues like downspout placement or number of downspouts etc. that need to be addressed and those options can be discussed at that time. Also we like to get a feel for the style of gutter and color combinations that will work best for their home. Also we cover materials and installation methods we use as it is a sharp contrast to other gutter installations.

Having the homeowners present allows us to answer any questions they may have, many times spouses have totally different questions so both parties get their questions answered.  Also colors are best discussed in person as well.

Scribbling a price on the back of a business card does not always give you details on materials used, how the gutter is affixed, guarantees etc. Also most customers like to meet the people they are going to do business with. We feel that an informed decision is always the best way to select the right contractor for your project.
